During the crisis, you were discouraged to meet your neighbours, family members and friends for quite a long time. Perhaps, you were able to keep in touch over the phone, video call or “whatsapping”. Did you feel like your contact with other people has changed during this period? How did you experience this way of communicating? Did you feel lonely or connected? Considering this new form of contact with social distancing, what would you like to keep, change and leave behind afterwards? How do you see us all coming out of the crisis together?

In this dialogue, we will focus on how the corona crisis affected our social lives, whether it was possible to keep or adapt our contact, or if it resulted in feelings of loneliness and isolation. We will share our personal experiences during the crisis, and visualize together how we can remain connected as we move out of the crisis.

Emerging Stronger from the Crisis

Corona crisis has suddenly changed many things in our lives; we had to continue our work or studies from home, perhaps lost our jobs and weren’t allowed to see our family and friends. Since June, our lives started adjusting to a ‘new normal’. How did you experience the crisis? What changed in your daily lives? Are your views and values changing somehow? Which of these changes do you wish to maintain moving forward, and how can you make that happen?
